I had acute astigmatism for a greater part of my life. When I heard about Lasik surgery I was extremely excited!! I of course asked around about it, and Dr. Mitchell Jackson's name always came up. I lived close by, and said why no! I was so impressed with his style. Always friendly, answered every question thoroughly, and most importantly, gave me 20/10 vision! WOW!!! Dr. Jackson was up-to-date on all of the new technology where others wouldn't even suggest Lasik.
12 years ago, blunt force lacerated the cornea in my right eye. Surgery was too risky. The lens was irreparably traumatized. Someone referred me to Dr. Jackson. "It will be like using small jackhammers," he told me. "I've done 30,000 procedures. This will be among the most difficult, but I believe we can do this. Are you willing?" Dr. Jackson oozed confidence. "Yes!" The surgery took less than 20 minutes. Today, my sight is fully restored. He's still the man. As for me? 'Eye never felt better'!

The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Jackson uses the latest and most up to date equipment for your vision needs. The total office environment is upbeat and pleasant along with free coffee and snacks. I totally trust my vision in Dr. Jackson’s care because of his expertise in his field. You will not be disappointed if you choose Dr. Jackson for your eye care! ??
Before Dr. Jackson I was seen by three Ophthalmologists who were not able to appropriately diagnose and treat my eyes problem. Dr. Jackson and the entire staff of his office (JacksonEye in Lake Villa,IL.) are AMAZING! I received extremely detailed Eyes examination, finally correct diagnose and treatment plan. Dr. Jackson treats his patients with kindness, patience, professionalism, respect and dignity. He clearly explains every issue and answers questions. I highly recommend him to everybody.
Dr. Jackson is great!! However, I think he's so great he it a bit overcommitted with patients. Sadly I've never gone there and waited a minimum - sometimes over an hour to get seen, I'd just recommend when you have an appointment, to put in a huge cushion.
I saw. DR Jackson for LASIK surgery. He and his staff were great. They explained everything step by step and made me feel at ease. I highly reccommend Jacksoneye.
My cataract surgery was an excellant experience. He has given me my sight back free from corrective lenses. The colors are brilliant. As far as an eye surgeon he is certainly one of the best! My eye care is in expert hand with Dr. Jackson. Yours can be too!
Dr Jackson has an excellent reputation as being one of the best Optomologist and eye surgeons in the Chicagoland area.I have had Lasik surgery in my 40's and now both cataracts have been removed in my 70's. Besides myself, many of my friends are his patients. I feel confident that I can trust him completely to always do what is best for my eyes. I am very satisfied and I highly recommend Dr Mitchell Jackson.
