Underwhelming My first impression was great. The restaurant is tucked away in a beautiful waterfront location in Redwood shores and has a great buzz of activity in the nicely furnished dining area and bar. The menu was interersting, not extraodinary, and the hostess made room for us in a raised table along the window that gave us a great view of the restaurant and outdoors. mistral this place is great. it's always busy for lunch, but i've never been during dinner. the food is tasty but it is fine dining so expect to pay those prices.
Would Come Again I liked this place a lot, and so did my 3 friends. I'm not a person that eats out a lot when I do, I'm selective given that I cook and bake from scratch with fresh ingredients. We had mohitos which were good and the bread they bring out is soft and warm. Two of us had the scallops, 1 had the seafood risotto, and 1 had chicken and we all enjoyed the food though I think the chicken was a bit dry. I felt very safe during Covid! The outdoor tables are very far apart!!! More than 6 feet. And the view was a bonus! Service and food, of course, is always perfect!💕
