Please save your money I have lived here for just a month exactly! And my kitchen sink got stopped up with dirty water it over flowed on my kitchen and living room causing my hard wood floors to bubble up! My dryer does not also work in the apartment! The halls ways reaks of dog feces because the tenants refuse to clean after them. The manager is not qualified to work being that she was just a tenant before taking the job! For this building to be in the middle of downtown Davenport! It is by far the worst place I have lived!... read more
This place is disgusting.! I m breaking my lease as this moment because I m tired of living next to ghetto tenants that smoke weed and blare their music till 6am and leave literally #\$%\$ in the halls! Arnie is a joke landlord and doesn t do anything to correct the behavior. This place is disgusting and I cannot wait to move out. Almost anywhere is better then here.!!!!
Groovy didnt know about this site till cruizn the web spots for new apartments. Ive got a few things to say- I knew Dea, she moved my girlfriend and I in-she seemed pretty awesome about what the building needed and she was ontop of her game. People - shes gone, she died back in 2009 so get over it- We have, no you have worse problems---- NOW is the problem management sucks never is in the office the building is in shambles it smells of garbage the community room smells like dirty socks its never cleaned the carpets are frigg... read more
I was in the process of checking out Mississippi Lofts but after reading all the drama on the reviews, I would rather steer clear of that kind of mess. If you or someone you know is the owner or manager of this property...maybe you should consider how this comes across to potential renters. Bickering online and addressing "smack talk" does not seem like a professional way to do business.
I moved into Mississippi Lofts in September 2009 by Dea. She was amazing and unfortunately she left shortly after I moved in. From September 2009 to June 2010 they had 4 sets of management. In December windows in the hallway were broken and were never fixed for the remander of the time I lived there. My apartment door never shut all the way unless it was completely locked. The windows had cracks where bugs would come in the apartment and there was no maintenance at all. The lights in the hallways were almost completely burnt... read more
I lived here for a year, and I loved it! The apartments are beautiful, completely renovated, well-maintained, and management was always friendly. The location is great... right in the middle of downtown Davenport. I definitely miss these apartments. Youd be hard-pressed to find such great units for the price!
Hey Everybody, thanks Deb for letting me know they are talking smack about us,, I want everyone to know this, so listen up: I have lived at the Mississippi Lofts since April 14, 2007. Ms Dea moved me in. She was the manager back then. She loved all of us, she is the one that had the ball players (QC Swing) live here. It was fun. The building was great back then. Debbie and Brit why wont you be part of the solution instead of the problem? Ive lived here since March 2007, as soon as the building opened and youre right the first year was fine, but then all maintenance stopped. Yes Dea came back briefly, but she is gone now for good and were stuck with incompetence again. Just look at the front door as an example the handle broke in late 2007 an ugly temporary handle was installed to provide a means for tenants to open the door until a proper replacement could be installed and its now 2... read more
This would be a great apartment building if it were maintained. Since the building was remodeled and became an apartment complex not one finger has been lifted to do any maintenance. The carpet in the common areas has never been cleaned, none of the wear and tear of the common area walls has been touched up, they have not even changed a single light bulb in the year and a half they have been operating. This of course means that well over half of the light bulbs in the hallways are burnt out and nobody cares. The office is op... read more
