I had alameda alliance then moved to San Joaquin and my insurance changed at my last appt as soon as I was home they called ro tell me I owed like 200 or 300. Week later they said I owed 600 and something. Been calling several timeliness to pick up my medical records and not one person has called me back been waiting several weeks now.
Please exercise caution with Dr. Khale. My experience was very disappointing. He administered a steroid injection without properly communicating or explaining the procedure beforehand. He proceeded abruptly, before the local anesthetic spray had taken effect, causing the patient significant pain and distress that led to a brief loss of consciousness. The patient continues to experience discomfort following the visit. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this doctor.
I canceled all my appointments facility in June of this year after they rejected my insurance. I just received a text that I am being charged $50 for a no show appointment although I have texts on my phone telling me my appointments have all been canceled. Do not use this facility as they will lie and are unprofessional, I will file a report with the AMA and also the Dr's involved.
I made an appt with Mission Peak at the recommendation of my primary care Dr. They get 1 star because they were 1. able to get me an appt in a short period of time - I was leaving on vacation and REALLY needed to have someone see my sprained ankle before I do a lot of walking/hiking. and 2. The lady taking my appt was very friendly. But here is the issue. They do NOT take my insurance because it is under Covered California plan - but it is still a PPO with Blue Shield. Dr. Co Banh is a very informative, friendly, and helpful doctor. I went to see him for my neck pain and later for my back pain. He listened carefully to all my concerns and suggested what needs to be done to ease the pain. Thank you so much Dr Co Banh for taking care of my back and neck pain.
