My famiy's experience with the CVS minute clinic was terrible. My son needed to go to a program that required him to get an HIV test and a TB test. The practitioner drawing blood could not get his blood drawn but we went ahead and had her give him the TB test. We went to the E/R and they got his blood first stick, no problem. The practitioner that gave him the TB test scheduled him to come back 3 days later for the results. The day he went back for the results, the clinic was closed. I scheduled a minute clinic appointment and they canceled my appointment in the subtlest way possible, all I got was an email at 7 AM when my appointment was for 6:50 PM. No call, not even a text even though I provided my phone number. Also the staff just wasn’t there, they were “closed” even though they were scheduled to be open until 7:30 PM.
