Centrally located, the popular Market St. lounge attracts an exceptionally diverse group of the Bay Area's top singers. We also boast the best KJ's, the best singers, and one of the largest karaoke collections around. Even though it is such a popular bar, The Mint is always receptive to newcomers and first-timers. There are no cover charges or song charges ever!

Great singers on the weekend... A place that will bring a smile to your face
Song queue filled up quickly, leaving no room to pick a song.
This place is super fun but the DJ is the most arrogant asshole in the city. Don't tip, it's his job to put songs into the cue but be prepared for the attitude.
Go early in the evening before it gets too crazy if you want to sing a few songs. Also, don't forget to generously tip the KJ! You'll get to sing more if you aren't cheap.
Takes a long time to get up there but the crowd is so fun!
Don't sing over the person with the mic. We don't want to hear the crowd. No matter how bad the singer is. STFU
The bar is cash only
Good times. Crowd was great, bartenders were friendly, and vibe was great.
Oh and people are very receptive to Spanish songs here. A whole book dedicated to em :)
