Extremely Unprofessional
My visit was very short. I went for possible injection for headaches , he seem very uninterested in helping me. He has a poor bedside manner . Then scanned an old mri and said I guess you could have neck injections . Thank you no .
Dr. A recommended spinal injection first followed by surgery and said physical therapy is a last resort. Of course PT should be first which is what I did and it worked. Please keep in mind that not all doctors are acting in your best interest.
An exceptional doctor. Informed with my issues. Considerate and kind. Glad I found him. Recommend him highly.
Dr. Alvarez is very gentle during procedures and his shots are the most effective od any other Dr that i have been to.
I know Dr. Alvarez for many years, he start taking care of my mother over 10 years a go and his been taking care of me for many years also. I needed shot on my back from time to time for herniated disk and he was able to help me always and take the pain away. His staff are very friendly and Dr. Alvarez is a person of few words, but very concerned about my well been and always asking me if I'm Ok during the procedure. I recommended him to a friend and he like Dr. Alvarez like I do.
I have found him to be very considerate of my pain tolerance when administering the injections. He and his staff are very professional.
i visited Dr. Alvarez for spinal stenosis. i have several nerve blocks which lasted a few months on both legs. After this Dr. Alvarez did RFA on both legs. i feel as if I have my life back with very limited pain. I have never taken pain drugs and related this to the doctor. He tries very hard to get you to a place in your life that is manageable. I have been highly satisified, not a doctor to just hand you pain medicine.
His staff is very efficient and the wait times were less than 5 minutes as compared to the other back doctor I went to see who made me wait over an hour in the waiting room and 30 minutes in the exam room. Dr. Alvarez was very patient and asked plenty of questions.
