i’ve taken several pets to MECA for various purposes. they are competent, professional and compassionate. most recently, i had to have my ailing elderly dog pts. i was very touched by the care & consideration given to her and to myself under this difficult circumstance.

Bad experience with emergency treatment of our beloved George, ESA rabbit. Was more concerned with full payment of all services instead of starting with pain relief and other life saving services. I feel they could have started with partial payment of 250 in cash, half of what they wanted... around $550. Knowing he was hurting without relief is heart breaking. George died while my best friend was rushing to us to help pay the rest.
VCA staff was so kind and caring to my spouse and I when we had to bring in our dying guinea pig to be put down. Our guinea pig lived a long life before it was time to go and when he wasn't able to go peacefully on his own, VCA staff were able to keep him comfortable and help him in his last moments. Today we even recieved a sympathy card from VCA. They made a very difficult situation easier. We truly appreciate how kind they were.
I brought to these folks a young black tom cat in today after I witnessed him being struck by a SUV. He wasn't run over exactly, his reaction was a great jump, possibly surpassing the height of the vehicle before it even passed. I was only aware of his injury because he stayed on the ground whipping his tail around. I pulled a U turn and blocked the proper lane as I called VCA Milwaukee. I would love to thank the VCA Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals for taking time out to allow one of our students to do a job shadow with them. It was very informative and gave a lot of insight to what it takes to get into the field of animal medicine. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is wanting to learn more or get to know how to get started on the right path to this career. Thank you again!
Great team of folks. They always do a great job caring for my pets, especially since it's an emergency situation.
we took my daughter's dwarf hamster there after every other veterinarian refused to treat it's injured leg. The care we received was outstanding and the price was minimal. I would recommend VCA Milwaukee to anyone.
