I have been a patient of Dr. Milton for a couple of years now. Not been the greatest of experiences with her, but I am better on my medical protocol. Many of the things that I have been seeing on these critiques are true. So I won't bother to repeat them. My biggest issue with her is that her ability in the area of psycho-pharmacology is very low. Did this psychiatrist leave you unattended for an extended period of time? Yes, I was completely ignored for a long time! Were you able to get answers to simple questions from this provider without scheduling an appointment? Not at all! I had to schedule an appointment for absolutely everything! Does this provider ever overbook appointments here? Dr. Milton, at one time, was very insightful into what was going on with me, though she was ALWAYS late. 45 minutes wait was the norm; in fact good. But then things changed and it seemed to be she became very arrogant, acting very unprofessionally, by repeatedly taking personal, non-emergency phone calls during our sessions (making dinner plans, speaking with a gardner!!) and even though I mentioned this was bothersome to me, it didn't stop. Without a doubt, they were the worst psychiatrist I've ever seen. I can't believe they're still practicing. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. When the Dr. came out they proceeded to argue with another patient about money for five minutes.
