The office staff was great, very friendly and professional. Great COVID saftey precautions in place. Medical staff and Dr. Vassallo were also great. A nice balance of warm and professional without being too formal or disconnected or rushing through the visit.
Dr. Vassallo made you feel comfortable and explained your diagnosis to the core. His nurse was the same. They both were compassionate towards me while telling me what would be the next step towards getting me better.
This was my first time visiting ENT and Allergy Associates. I am a dedicated Weill Cornell patient so this was not usually what I do. Dr. Vassallo was patient, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and experienced. We actually ended up chatting for about 20 minutes, lobbing questions back and forth. It felt great to have that type of experience.
The doctor was extremely patient while I asked him questions and took the time to thoroughly explain the cause of my allergy. I felt so relieved to know why I had been suffering from congestion for so many months. He is very kind, knowledgeable, and approachable. Highly recommend!
Very professional and knowledgeable. The office staff is very friendly and efficient. The doctor was responsive to my questions and concerns. He guided me with the best possible way to get the best possible results, giving me several options.
Incredible comprehensive and friendly doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. His office may run late on appointments occasionally, but it's only because the doctor does not rest until he feels all of his patient's concerns are addressed. Rest assured that you will receive that same standard of care.
A doctor who goes above and beyond. Impeccable attention to detail. Listens, answers questions, has a real conversation with you. Answers questions. After care is exceptional, he pays attention to patient portal message boards and follows up with phone calls. Even during this pandemic his attention and care is incredible.
After two visits with Dr. Vassallo, I can say that I had a very informative, comprehensive and supportive experience. I was given detailed information, counseling and plans of action both verbally and in writing. Jovon, the doctor's nurse, was extremely supportive and knowledgeable as well and made me feel well taken care of. The ENT Allergy staff here, Olympia, Kathy, Teresa, Krohn, are welcoming, supportive and extremely helpful as well.
Should have known by the gigantic size of their waiting room that this is a factory interested in shuffling as many paying people through in a day as possible. Waiting over an hour for a 9:40am appointment and finally left after getting no indication of when I would be seen. I mean, over an hour delay already at 9:40am? If you have a job or anything else in life you like doing other than waiting for a doctor who thinks very little of your time, look elsewhere.
