6 stars - whatever is greater than "loved it"! We haven't stayed the night there yet, but we frequently visit and dine at ELLIES. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! When I pulled up to this establishment I was blown away! It is absolutely beautiful! It reminds me of a bed and breakfast but so much better. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The decor is minimal but very nice, I think just right . The color scheme made me want to redo my whole house, loved it! Ellie's cafe what can I say. I stayed at the Mills Park Hotel in May. What a stunning boutique-style hotel! The decor is beautiful. It reminds me of The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, NC. The nod to local craftspeople is wonderful. From the locally made pottery lamps in every room and the rocking chairs on the front porch to the regional photos on the walls and the Amish crafted furniture.
