This was probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The man working at the desk the night we stayed was the friendliest, most professional person I have ever experienced in a hotel, or any business really. He was genuinely nice and extremely helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful outside, inside and in the rooms. The atmosphere of the hotel and rooms are superb. I was not at all pleased with their breakfast. When I received my waffle it was cold and hard. I didn't make a fuss because the wait staff were very pleasant and made you feel very welcome. My family that was with me also felt the breakfast was not worth the expense. Giving them the benefit of doubt, maybe, their lunch is dinner is better.
Just...wow! This spanking new, clean, beautifully-appointed hotel brings a whole new dimension to the already awesome town of Yellow Springs. What a great place to stay! Loved the rooms, the public spaces, the huge porch w/rocking chairs, the location. Plan to return many times.
Gorgeously appointed, generous room size, fabulous in suite bathrooms, clean and inviting common areas, and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed a lunch and dinner at Ellie's, and we're able to sit outside on the porch and enjoy the unique ambiance of Yellow Springs. The cocktails were delicious and the porch inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway, and are thrilled to have such a wonderful place so close to home. We're already planning our return trip!
I love this place so much we haven't even left and I'm already leaving this review!! Just grabbed a latte and a couple strawberry pistachio muffins from downstairs....and I am so in love with the ambiance here. Thank you so much for the wonderful service throughout the whole process... (except checkout...because we haven't done that yet)
Just Lovely! . We watched as this Hotel was being built. What a beautiful building it turned out to be. We had dinner in Ellie's Restaurant with a delicious bottle of wine. Our handsome waiter was very helpful and courteous. Service was quick and the food delicious. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely make this a place to go for a night out.
