The hospital corporation was founded in 1952 and the current hospital location was opened in 1955 as the Millinocket Community Hospital. The facility was again expanded in the mid-1970?s and mid-1990?s to meet community needs. Above & beyond exceptional care...nobody wants to be in the hospital but the staff @ MRH was very professional with their pleasant demeanor & explained procedures very well, even adding humor to ease the stress of the "minor discomfort" associated with some of these procedures...Millinocket is lucky to have MRH in this community & the caring staff who take exceptional care of their patients...keep up the good work...I, for one, appreciate all you guys do �
Millinocket Regional Hosptial has always gone above and beyond for the 50 years I have used this hospital. Before I was 4 years old, I had 4 surgeries here, I actually remember being there when I was 2 and 1/2 years old. I remember every single visit! My family has used this hospital and I have nothing but high remarks. The nursing staff has alway held the highest level of care. 5 stars are well deserved! Please keep doing what you do! So proud of the hospital in my hometown!

Have had nothing less than excellent care there, whether it was in the ER, testing, or surgry. The staff is the best. Always efficient and friendly. Thankful we have Millinocket Regional Hospital !
When my son was 4 months old I took him to the emergency room because he was having hard time breathing. ..the er staff did chest xrays and found out he had double lung pneumonia. .abd I was told he would be admitted to emmc for further care as they had pediatrics unit..I thought I would have to take him but I was informed he was going by ambulance. ..I was going to follow in my vehicle...I trusted the ambulance driver and nurse to transport him..when i arrived he was already upstairs and the ambulance staff had try to stay ... read more
