I wouldn’t send anyone to MRH ED. Lack of professionalism. Degrading behavior from nursing staff towards patients.
If you need to be seen, do yourself a favor and go to EMMC not MRH. The hospital is a joke and will always be a joke. Point. Blank. Period.

My husband was a patient there many time one when he very ill and the care was wonderful,also when he was in his final day of dieing the nursing’s staff was very careing towards our family with coffee and sweets, Kim in oncology was awesome in the care of my husband he felt great there Kim she was caring and when he had is infections Kathy Katie and Dr Herbert were great always a smile and had him smiling
I just came from Millinocket Regional Hospital. I had a procedure in one day surgery and was very, very nervous. These people treated me better then I could have imagined. This small town hospital has employees that showed me so much compassion. I want to express my sincere thank you to everyone that was a part of my procedure. Thank you so much, Brenda Kerr

I recently had bilateral knee injections, for severe osteoarthritis of both knees. I was terrified of those big needles!!!?? I was treated with care and kindness with lots of comfort from the staff. I walked out of the orthopedic office in no pain. It, apparently, has a different result for everyone but I'm so glad I gave it a try. Dr. Gluscic and his staff were so kind and encouraging! If you have knee pain that makes walking difficult, I encourage you to call for an appointment. Give it a try!
The care my mother received during her recent knee replacement at MRH was excellent. From admission to discharge everyone she encountered treated her with kindness, gave her the best medical care and made her feel completely at ease. Having gone through several surgeries previously at other facilities (including a knee replacement) she says she likes MRH best. Thank you!!
