The hospital corporation was founded in 1952 and the current hospital location was opened in 1955 as the Millinocket Community Hospital. The facility was again expanded in the mid-1970?s and mid-1990?s to meet community needs. You won't get better care anywhere, I know first hand, not only did i give birth 7 tines at this hospital, but when my youngest turned ten, I got hired to work at this most wonderful hospital and worked there for 25 of the best years of my life, and would do it all over again. I can't find enough good things to say about MRH, as far as I am concerned no one could find a better place to be when they need good medical care!! It is the best and I have been a patient at other hospitals. It would be a tragedy if anything happened... read more
Best place to work ever. Great staff and supportive administration. Excellent place to receive care and treatment with professional staff that are well trained.
