Amazing staff! Yesterday I donated whole blood for my 7th time (1 gallon next time, woohoo)! This was the first time I had a reaction. I lost consciousness. I can't express enough gratitude toward all the ladies there who kept me safe and took care of me until I was well enough to leave. They went above and beyond in so many ways. Today was the second time I have donated blood and the people here do a great job with putting the needle in they don't just jab it in and they actually sit there and have a conversation with you. I will be going back after 10 days to donate Platelets to cancer patients. The way I see it is if I can save someones life then that's all that really matters.
What a pleasure to schedule an appointment or walk-in so close to home. You can donate under a groups name so they get credit. We typically drive 30 min to donate for our church but this I can do more frequently and still give our church the credit. Everyone is pleasant making you feel appreciated for taking time out of your day to donate blood.
