I have told many people now that we had a perfect hospice nurse. And we did. The level and quality of care provided to my mother by Shayla could not have possibly been of a higher quality, medically or emotionally at any price. She treated my mother like she was her mother, and that’s the first and only time I’ve ever seen that quantity and quality of love from anyone outside of an immediate family member - under any circumstance. My daughter won her battle yesterday and is now at peace with Jesus.. I want to thank Dr Timothy Holder from the bottom of my heart for finally getting us the medication to give her to relax her enough to rid her of her pain the last four days she was with us. ( she was to be given comfort care, pain control, from the beginning of Oct) The girls that came to bathe her were amazing. They gave her such great care and comfort.
