Joh was confrontational and rude to me because she believed that I had used a “rude tone” when I questioned her about when I had used a “rude tone” she said that I used it to her receptionist. How does she know I used a rude tone when I didn’t even speak to her? I spoke to her receptionist. Best psychologist I've ever had. I actually feel listened to and supported. Could not recommend Joh enough to anybody really.
Two stars because Joh can be slightly helpful about some things. But overall, she was exceptionally rude to me on one occasion. I was talking to her, and she was barely responding and not engaging or acting remotely interested in anything I was saying. Then she interrupted me to say “I didn’t like what you said to me. Joanna Yates was very unprofessional in her doctor/patient client boundaries, was too interested in speaking about herself than with the client and made inappropriate jokes about knowing her clients abuser when discussing trauma. Do not go here.
