So everyone from greeting to registration to the triage nurses and Dr all super friendly I was literally in and out of the ER in about 30 mins!
The doctor that I saw in the emergency room Thursday night was stellar. Bright, thorough and attentive. After that, everything fell apart. I was admitted, yanked off my regularly prescribed medications without medical reason, given food I was allergic to, and dehydrated. Then, upon discharge, I wasn't given any of the paperwork needed for appropriate follow up. Now I have to chase after people for paperwork that I should have already had, when I should be resting and recovering.
Awesome staff! Very ppl friendly. Very good bed side manner.

Sent my 94 year old grandmother home after being hit by a car, despite her saying she could not walk. They did no testing or imaging and missed her fractured hip. Thankfully, St Vincent's admitted her days later and provided proper care.
It is a wonderful neighborhood hospital. I had three of my children there, two of which were twins. (I think they shut that portion down; which was sad because the staff and facilities were beautiful!) For heavy extreme care, best for bigger hospitals. It is great for routine everyday care and general emergencies!
I am very upset that they no longer have maternity ward.
Milford Hospital required payment two days in advance for what they estimated our insurance would not cover for her colonoscopy . We have a 10% copay. This is now creating problems with our flexible spending account. Until this happened I would have given Milford Hospital a good review. But not now!!! I would have given no stars but it would not accept the review with no stars.
