I've been working with Miler Properties (specifically, Jeanene Fernett) for the past eight years to manage my home in Summerville. I'm not sure if the words is habitual or pathological, just looking for a honest answer. I have never come across a company that can talk so fast, they confuse themselves.
My husband is USAF and we rented from MIler for two years. When we first tried to move in on July 1, they called us on June 30 to tell us that the house wasn't ready and we'd have to wait until July 10. Then it became July 15. Finally on July 18, we were able to move in. The house was absolutely filthy. The microwave and fridge were covered in food, and the floors were extremely dirty. I was looking for a rental home. I looked at a few properties, including some from other property management companies. I happened to like the one from Miler Properties and put my application in. I was approved with no problems. The place was in good condition, just needed a small clean up from being vacant for awhile. Whenever I needed something, I emailed them and got things taken care of. My experience has been fine with the company, but I'm pretty laid back. They've taken care of whatever I needed, and seemed to be genuine about it. They all have been very nice, and in the end, that's the type of people I like doing business with.
I recommend Miler all the time, and everyone has been happy with the company. Must be a reason why they have been ranked one of top property management companies in the Charleston area!
Definitely in top echelon – I have 9 properties they manage for me in the Charleston area (Summerville). I have used them for the last 5 years. I have visited their office on several occasions and they have always treated me well. The check arrives consistently on or about the same date each month, can not say that with all of the managers. Prompt & Exceptional – How are you? I have a property in Summerville for about 9 years. I have been with Miler Properties for about 7 of those years. I had had two managers, Susan and Jeanene. Both were exceptional in their service, promptness of payment and keeping up with repairs. Additionally, I have had some very hard financial hardships personally and they worked with me to pay those repairs like dividing up the payments in installments. Friendly and very professional – Miler has been managing several of my properties for 3-4 years now and I am very satisfied. They're ability to find good, qualified tenants in a timely manner has made my life so much easier that it would be hard to describe.
