The lunch is always superb and so reasonably priced for fresh, locally sourced when available food, and dinner is excellent-for this who like eating out in NY, trying new things and enjoy chef created specialties.
Already our favorite restaurant because the proteins are good quality and consistent, the creativity of seasonal accompaniments never disappoint, the wine list is wonderful, the service is respectful and attentive, and they always always know how to make a wonderful meal for my husband who is allergic to gluten. They have never accidentally made him sick. We have had great waitresses and waiters over the years, but Mildred's can thank their lucky stars to have Benoit in their family. He is wonderful!!
One of my favorites places for lunch quiche in a casual atmosphere, but the place transforms at night to the perfect upscale environment for an intimate date night or dinner party. The food is out of this world except that most of the ingredients are locally sourced! With wine pairings and homemade dessert this makes for an unforgettable experience. My go-to is the lamb, so tender, and my husband loves the duck. The menu changes, so be ready to experiment.
