Too expensive for poor, careless service. Came for gel mani because of a broken nail. Not my usual place. They cut everything way too short - not just shorter to match the broken nail. No one came and looked at my nails after the final gel curing. Totally uneven top coat. Would have asked them to fix it but no one would look at me after I was done. Video is from the parking lot showing uneven top coat on the middle finger.
Had previously had pretty good service at this salon until 2 days ago when I asked to have my gel nails removed. Helen the owner was so rude to me. She cut my nails down to the quik and took off the gel polish in less than 6 minutes. She didn't talk or answer any questions during that brief session or even make eye contact. She was so rushed, the tool was burning me and now I can't even put earrings on as I have zero nails to grab them. Very disappointing.
I am new to the area had my nail salon in Porter Ranch for over a decade. I’m super super picky with my nails and It took me a few tries at other shops in the area before I finally found Milan Nails & Spa. I am so happy here! These are my real nails and they’ve NEVER been this long, strong and healthy! This is just a bio gel coat, but as you can see they’ve been able to really nurture me here. The work they do is phenomenal and as long as I’m in Oak Park I’ll be coming back for these beautiful sets! 🩵
If I could go back in time, I would’ve never came in… booked an appointment and was told it would be $65 for a GelX service. The nail tech began by placing the extension half way up my nail bed, very rushed and with no nail prep whatsoever. The entire application was done incredibly messily. I asked for a French tip, and while I know that can take time, she painted every nail very crooked. I had to ask to fix them because none looked straight or even similar.
