Best chili in the PNW...with or without beans! Great location all the food to good, cooked to order, and the place has great ambience!!!
We really liked it! Ordered a chili burger, chili dog and a basket of fries. Yuuuuuummmmm. Plus, Mike came around and visited with us. I would definitely return.
Dive bar with darn good chili. Haven't been in years and the chili hasn't changed a bit. Gotta love consistency. Oh yeah, I forgot that they are "cash only", but they have an ATM, although it'll cost you $2.50 from the ATM, and maybe more if your bank charges for non-network withdrawal.
Mikes is always the best chili in Seattle! Too bad they aren’t open on sundays � they only take cash also but who cares the food has never changed in all the years I have been going to mikes . My parents were regulars in the very old days also . I remember those greasy old takeout containers they brought home to EW after a trip to Ballard!
It's an old school bar with a small kitchen/griddle in the corner. Don't come here for fine dining. Come here for the authentic , local, blue collar bar atmosphere that one would expect from an establishment residing next to an offshore fishing fleet!... I thought it was awesome!
