Best chili in Seattle and one of the best period. Successor to World Class Chili when it was at Pike Street Market.
Food was pretty good but They only take cash and don't mention it until you get the check. Convent they have an atm in the building... and it charges 2.50 to get money out, of course.
My wife and I have to Mikes for years. You have to go there, you're missing out on something special if you don't.
Great local place, amazing food and the chili is better than your moms!
Comfort food. Cold beer. It's all about walking into a place and feeling like it's home.
I stopped making chili after finding this place some 25 years ago
Rumor has it that Mike has been working on the same batch since the Korean war. If I took a date and it wasn't good enough for her on rainy Saturday afternoons it was over between us.
