I was rear-ended by a driver who has State Farm. When I spoke with the State Farm agent, he said he would make arrangements for a rental car that was comparable to my SUV. When the collision center was finally able to finally get my car in for repairs (a month and a half later) H**** (the only rental agency SF uses) informed me that no agent had ever called on my behalf so there were no cars available. I was insured by State Farm ( The Good Hands People) for almost 30 years. In March, 2017,my 19 year old son was in an accident. The accident was not a large payout, under 5000. They doubled my insurance for 6 months. This repaid the entire amount of the accident cost. That was bad enough, considering, I had given them THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS over the last 30 years; however, they then decided to cancel him. poor customer service. a month ago received notice in mail, that my road side service. Would be discontinued. Because, I used the service too much (about three times per year). I called and asked, "what is too much". did not receive a clear answer. Just told I used "tow" too much. My insurance rate would not being gong down to reflect discontinued RSS. I have made over $40,000 in homeowners premiums over the last 258 payments. I had a pipe burst in my attic which caused water damage on the first and second floor, and now they are saying they won't pay for the plumbing repair. Seriously???? I have had virtually no claims during this period. Can anyone say "Hello N*********:?
This insurance hiked over 100$ in a year when I have no accidents or moving violations I'm being penalized for the rest of the states terrible driving..... Shame on you state farm!
The local agency was great, State Farm National worked well with me on two accidents that I was hit from behind, so you say what is my complaint? I went to another top insurance co got a quote for the exact coverage on two vehicles and increased my homeowners ins for $860.00 less, a 30 percent savings.
Skip the higher prices and go with cheaper insurance company. Paying a high rate does not mean you will be treated any better! You are a payment and number. Nothing more. 20+ years with State Farm, and they are disputing 1.5% ($79.19) for a total loss my van, and this based off their arbitrary 75% cutoff for vehicle repairs! Refused to even discuss letting me use a local body shop with much cheaper rates! Plus they are counting my deductible in the total cost of the repair! THEY ARE TERRIBLE. I Just switched from P**********. I have never been in an accident and my car skid on the road in a snowstorm, and needed repairs. They told me they couldn't calculate how much my premium would go up. They also said it would take 3-5 business days to get someone to inspect the car. THIS INSURANCE IS ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. Terrible company, terrible support, waste of money.
I was rear-ended on Jan 25, 2018, by a state farm insured and they pushed my vehicle into another vehicle. Both of these were very low impacts, but my front light was smashed so it was a nondrive. All 3 of us pulled over and the cop issued a ticket to their insured.
