I recently applied for a rental home that was listed far below the market rate — almost too good to be true. After being told my application was approved, I was instructed to drop off a cashier’s check at an address connected to a different company (Brodie Management), even though the listing and communication were through Atlas Realty and Mike Minns! These realtors are incredibly difficult and adamantly unwilling to assist in searching for a rental property. I know it's a lesser commission, but it's still money, and you barely have to do anything. They refused to send me the MLS listings that fit what I was looking for which is absurd. It takes 2 minutes. I asked if there were any available agent that could help and the response i received was "I'll see if I can find one."
