Curious to know why the company crows on its box that the "pyramid pouch is biodegradable, commercially compostable and we use no staples or glue" and then package each teabag into a PLASTIC container?

Received a box for Xmas and was extremely disappointed to see tea bags individually wrapped in plastic so much unnecessary plastic that might end up in our oceans. Loved the flavour but will not purchase for myself or others. Please consider paper satchels for individually wrapped tea bags! As a company you can help consumers be environmentally friendly or contribute to pollution and waste.

Just recently discovered your tea and decided to make Christmas gifts out of it for some friends. So far I’ve tried the Bombay Chai, Vanilla Bean, and the African Nectar. I just sat down to my first cup of the Peppermint Chamomile and it has to be the best herbal tea I’ve ever tasted. Pity it’s seasonal but... absence makes the heart grow fonder they say...the only one I wasn’t impressed with was the Vanilla Bean. It didn’t taste at all like vanilla to me.

Got the whole leaf Organic Spring Jasmine tea and although the teas was tasty, the packaging was a turn off. I understand the packaging around the tea bag is there to help preserve the tea, but to me it seems very wasteful and not environmentally friendly. The tea bags each have their own sealed plastic packaging and it appears the "tea bag" is made of some sort of plastic. For this reason, I will not be buying this product again. I would think an organic product would also be packaged in an environmentally friendly way. Thi... read more

Just bought a tin of Mighty Leaf Matcha. The tin looks like it could hold 12oz of liquid. We open it up to find a tiny (and mean TINY) bag of matcha. 1.5oz. Yes the weight is on the tin, but it seems like the size of the tin is created to deliberately deceived consumers as to the quantity of tea. If you emptied the matcha into the tin, it might fill 1/10 of the space inside. Love the product, feel like the packaging is deceptive.
