putting a high quality organic tea into a nylon plastic mesh just doesn't make sense beinf a common knowledge that all plastics exposed to high temperatures are releasing petrochemical carcinogens and endocrine disruptors that end up in the delicious tea to be consumed by unsuspecting customers. One surely hopes the bags will be replaced by something like manila hemp teabag paper very soon.

I have bought countless boxes of the organic mint melange herbal tea in the past few years. The new boxes just purchased (at $9.00 each) are different. The bags are a different shape, I think there is less tea in each, and it says “whole leaf,” but taking each one out of the plastic wrapper, tea dust falls out profusely- it’s literally dust in these tea bags. Disappointing!!!!
