I have been a patient of Dr. Lee since 2007. At the time my ankle was constantly slipping out of the socket and causing me a great deal of pain. I opted to have the ankle fused and considered ankle replacement, but Dr. Lee wasn’t feeling confident about the whole process back then and steered me away from that decision. The fusion was successful and got me through five years. When the ankle became too painful Dr. Lee recommended ankle replacement. I now have both ankles replaced and fused on the sides due to what is believed to be a hyper flexibility issue with my joints. It is because of Dr. Lee that I am walking and able to do most things I like to do in life. I have been on this rugged journey with him for 12 years now and wouldn’t want to continue this journey with any other orthopedic ankle/foot physician and surgeon. He is hands down the best and his staff is so wonderful and pleasant. Many thanks to Brandi Alonzo for always just being a phone call away and greeting me with warmth and a smile at every visit.I actually look forward to my visits with Dr. Lee and staff and can’t praise them enough.

I highly recommend Midwest Orthopedics at Rush. I am a first time patient and from the moment I walked into the office I was treated like a long time family member. Stacia greeted me and I appreciated her. The first greeting always sets the tone for the rest of the visit. Dr. Bush-Joseph and Dr. Travis Smith were fantastic. Great people, fantastic care and excellent overall!

Unfortunately, I have needed orthopedic help a number of times. That said, I have always been pleased with the care I got at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush. They use the most advanced treatment techniques where applicable, and right now Dr. Cheng is using tests and interview information to track down my back pain. With his intelligent questioning and determination, I’m sure we will find a suitable treatment.
