RecommendedIt was a little slow getting into a room, but Dr. Weaver did amazing with my 3 year old son. He was Very patient with my kiddo and that alone speaks volumes about the caring experience we had. The tech was great too! I would definitely recommend this place!
so far have been waiting over a half hour for my appointment. this nothing new here, why can't they call you and let you know they are running behind so you don't have to sit in a crowded waiting room?? actually no chairs even left for people to sit in.
They were not up front about charges. My daughter was unable to get a note for school. If you have a policy about no notes without seeing the doctor when you pick up glasses it should be posted or told to parents making appointments. The manager was rude and lied to us. Telling someone that the schools have requested that notes not be sent with kids unless they see the doctor isn’t true with my daughters school. I verified it with the school. Sure, if you live in this area and your insurance says you HAVE TO go there... but as a mother of 7 with a husband who works 3rds, these people are NOT about your convenience. Their attitude shown over the years I've put up with them, speaks to the belief you need them & not to a customer's situation. If you have a life, go elsewhere.

I went there in August of 2019 and was pretty much going back there monthly because the dr could not figure out my contact lenses, doing trials. Finally in July of 2020 he gave me a set and said “if these don’t work I can’t help you”. Of course they didn’t work. So, 2 weeks ago I went to a different practice and she got my contacts correct the first try. I have a stigmatism in my right eye and the dr at MWEC couldn’t figure that out. Dr. Beard and his staff are very courteous and caring. I believe my mom will get the best eye care possible here at Midwest Eye Consultants.
