Midwest originally told me they would NOT charge me to look at my car and diagnose the problem. After 24 hours of no feedback, i call to ask about my vehicle. I was THEN informed they need $150 to run a test and diagnose the issue. I pay the $150 and dont hear back for another 24hrs. They proceed to tell me the car needed a Variable Timing Solenoid. Midwest is always my go to place for my car needs. They fit you in right away and are honest & fair!
Straight answers, less runaround. An hourly rate would be helpful instead of just what each individual mechanic quotes. If someone calls and asks how much for a simple job you should be able to give a ballpark est without seeing the car.
