If I could give this place zero stars I would. I traded in my car to them on 09/01/21 and purchased my truck here. The sales rep ** told me not to worry about my car payment at the end of the month because everything should be cleared and the sale final within 10 days. My contract got my sale included new tires and new paint for the rear passenger door of the truck where paint was peeling. They called and scheduled an appointment for me to drop off on 9/16. I show up and they tell me they can't do anything for me. "They don't have the tires, they don't do paint there and would have to send the door out and they don't have a machine capable of mounting my wheels because they are too big" I live out in **************... I wasted a round trip of about 150 miles and well over two hours of my time driving there. I asked them to check the brakes out while I was there. After two hours waiting on that and waiting to talk to finance (because I had been getting multiple calls a day from them and wanted to squash whatever it was) in their lobby where I was told to sit and wait because they are in a meeting. Nobody from finance was informed. I went back to pick up my truck. Where I was told that "they are perfectly fine" I get about 15 miles away headed home and I get a call from midway asking "when can I come in? They found me a better finance company with a ****% interest rate and that I need to come in because the paperwork I signed on the first they apparently aren't using and if something happens to the truck I have to pay 100% out of pocket. Furious I go back and said I'm not about to be there longer than 10 minutes. They had informed me they had all the paperwork ready to go and it would only take a couple minutes. When I get there I'm informed that my monthly payment would be lower than previous paperwork signed. The guy pulls it up and I ask him "what is that? You said a few bucks lower not a whole 400!" He proceeded to tell me that, "that was my new payment"... first of all it wasn't even my paperwork and not even remotely the same type of vehicle. Sorry "*************************" I didn't sign for you. I get home and I pop the hood of my truck because I don't believe a **** word they said about my brakes. I know they don't feel okay.... So you wanna guess the problem?? THERE WAS NO BRAKE FLUID AT ALL... BONE DRY. I HAD TO TAKE THE ***** AND GET THE LINE FLUSHED AND FILLED. WHEN ALL I GOT FROM THEM WAS "they are perfectly fine". DO YOUR JOB. DIDN'T TAKE ME TWO HOURS TO SEE THERE WASNT A DROP OF BRAKE FLUID AND IM NOT A MECHANIC. Alright so the end of the month comes around and my car payment comes out for the "car they purchased from my trade in" they never sent in a check. Then since I had already made that payment I was then shorted the $400s from my payout agreement... still haven't gotten that money back even though they said they would issue me a check when I called to find out what the f*** happened. 10/15 I had gone to the *** to get the money back from my registration from my car I had sold. They told me it was still in my name. Over a month later.. to top it off now I have some random accident tied to my previous car that I'm fighting my insurance for... dated way after my sale date... I dropped my truck off on 10/14 for the tires and paint that was in my contract to get done. When I pick it up a week later my backseat was filthy and covered in leaves from wherever they had it sit, after they took the door off. You would think the battle with this shithole would be over now that, that's done but NO. My rear passenger running lights don't work because who ever put my door back on did not know what they were doing. They expect me to make another 150 mile round trip. SEND A TECH OUT TO ME. YOU GUYS MESSED THIS UP. I had a nice long chat with my financing company too, because now I know they cut financing to c*** dealerships like this when they get enough complaints.

Im not sure where to start. If I could give this dealership negative stars, I would do so. Absolutely do not waste your time trying to sell or trade your used car to these people. We were solicited non stop to sell them our 2019 Nissan Sentra. We spent over two weeks, over 100 miles extra on the odometer and over $60 in gas (not to mention our time) negotiating with both this dealership and our bank. Our bank settled on a $15,000 sale that the dealership turned around and agreed to. By the way, our finance company was the company that this dealership set us up with when we bought the car from them initially. At the very last minute, the dealership sales people decided they did not like the process that the bank required them to go through in order to obtain the title to the Nissan. Because they did not like this process that the bank put in place, they pulled the deal out from under us. Their behavior then became disgusting, disrespectful and discourteous. Not quite the attitude you want in a sales member. It seems that, unfortunately, this dealership has fallen prey to what many dealerships fall prey to: that is to say they hire quantity and not quality. To spend two weeks in negotiations only at the last minute to decide that they did not like the process that the financial institution put in place is an absolute disgrace. I cannot begin to express how disrespected I feel. I will make sure that every single person on every social media platform I have access to knows that I wouldnt recommend this dealership if they paid me $1 million to advertise for them and gave me a free trip to Tahiti.
Business Response:

First and foremost we truly regret not being able to reach a meeting of the minds regarding the sale of your vehicle. Unfortunately due to inaccurate payoff information as well as inaccurate reporting of your vehicle condition (appraisal inspection) the decision was made to not move forward with purchasing your vehicle. We appreciate your time and apologize for any inconvenience experienced.

Wish I could give a negative star. They sold us a vehicle. Told us a few days later they should have never sold us the vehicle. Had us bring it back and held our trade in and down pymt and gave us a loaner vehicle while looking for a different vehicle. They were supposed to hold our old vehicle incase they couldn't find something comparable. Sold our old vehicle. Took loaner vehicle back and tried to sell us different car for more money. Ended up having to give us trade in value for our vehicle (so we lost money). Awful. On March 9, 2021 I purchased a 2019 Nissan ***** from Midway Nissan in Phoenix AZ. I gave $1000 as down payment on my credit card and traded in my 2006 Nissan ***** for $4000 towards purchase of the 2019 ***** ***** truck. I financed the rest of my purchase with ******* **** **** through Midway Nissan. On March 12th I received a message saying “there is a problem with the truck you are driving.” After me making multiple calls to the dealership and texting back I was told I needed to bring back the truck I purchased to the dealership. I live in Mesa which is about an hour away from the dealership, so the next Saturday (March 13), I brought my new purchased truck back. I was told that the truck that I was sold, was never supposed to have been sold to me. The previous owner of that truck needed their truck back as their sale didn’t go through. I was given a loaner vehicle and told to drive the loaner until a new truck of the same year and condition was found for me. During this conversation with 2 sales managers at the dealership I said “hold onto my old truck. I want a truck similar year, similar mileage, same Nissan ***** *****, same price, like I previously tried to buy.” My old truck was still on the lot. I saw it myself as I had to get my work badge out of it that I had forgotten on March 9th when I traded it in. The sales people and sales manager assured me they would hold my truck and be in contact with me as they looked for another truck that was similar to the one I tried to buy. I said if they were not able to find such a truck to let me know so I could get my down payment of $1000 and my original truck back. They agreed they would do that. I didn’t get any response from the dealership. I called and left messages for GM Kent, I texted Alex (original saleswoman), etc. I did finally get a call from dealership on March 24th. They said they could sell us a brand new truck. I asked if it would be same price as the original truck I tried to buy as I could only budget for that price. They said it would only be $100 more a month and the loan would only be extended by one year. I said that was not what we agreed to. The salesperson said they would go back to looking for a used truck for me. Then on April 29 I get a text from Alex our salesperson. Saying that they had found a truck for me and she believed it was a 2019. On the April 30th I got pictures of the truck and the *** ***. Then I asked for the price of the truck and was told the GM was busy and he was working on the numbers for the truck. I wanted to get the price of the truck so we could agree before we came down to sign paperwork if the truck was in good condition. Then I was told they need the loaner truck back ASAP as I was not supposed to have the truck longer than 2 weeks per company policy. I was also told that they would work with me on the price due to Midway Nissan’s mess up and the situation. The next day May 2nd we took the loaner truck back to check out the used truck they had found to replace the original 2019 we had purchased. When we got there I asked if they still had my old truck (06 *****) and was told it was there. The truck they found had suspension problems and alignment issues after my inspection and test drive. This was concluded from my 20 years as a mechanic, and my personal preference. They came back with a price of $41,000 on the truck. I told them that the truck was not worth that to me as the original purchase was for $36,000 financed and agreed upon. They were not able to get the price down to an agreeable level for me. I reminded them that they said they would get me a good price since they messed up in the beginning. They said both the GM and finance manager were fired because of what happen to us and the new GM would not budge on price because he wasn’t working there when this originally happened. I then asked for my 06 ***** back. That is when they told me that they sold my old truck wholesale. This was without having a new deal that I had agreed to with the used vehicle they found for us. Then they told us there was nothing they could do and offered us a new truck at $47,000. They then told us that they could pay us the $4000 that we agreed for the trade deal for the original purchase for selling our truck. But that they could not give us a check at that time as the GM was off that day. We eventually got in writing that Midway Nissan owed us $4000 for a trade in and $1000 for the down payment. They also said if we purchased a vehicle at another Nissan dealership, they could wire the money to another dealership for us. That we just needed to tell whatever dealership to ask for Ernie in finance at Midway Nissan. Or if we didn’t find a truck the check would be ready on Monday May 3rd at 10am. We went to ****** ******and told them about getting the money from Midway. ****** ****** said they couldn’t do that, as it was illegal. Again, another lie we were told by Midway. As it was, we were left at Midway Nissan, out $5000, and had our truck sold out from under us with no way to get home. A salesman at Midway felt bad for us and drove us to ****** ******. On Monday morning when we arrived to pick up our check it was not ready and was told it would take 24hrs to process the check and then the sales manager left us standing there. We waited 30 min with no contact from anyone at the dealership. Then I did call the police to put in a report of what was going on and how we felt as though Midway Nissan had stolen our truck and sold it. They did eventually get the GM there to sign the check and then we were all good. And the GM who signed the truck was Kent, the GM who worked with us originally, agreed to hold our old truck, and was supposedly fired and sent to *** ******with the finance Manager. We really felt backed into a corner at Midway Nissan with very little options. Our only options were to buy a truck from them at what I felt as an inflated rate or to get an **** home with my wife and daughter with less than what I originally came into the dealership with. So they basically sold our truck and took away my option to leave the dealership without buying a truck from them. This really felt as though we were being taken advantage of and extreme pressure that we had to buy a truck from Midway Nissan. Also, used car prices have increased in the last 2 months and we believe we could have gotten more value for our old truck as a trade in, instead of the $4000 that we got from Midway. When we looked up ***** **** **** for our truck the price was more and we had an offer from ****** for more for our truck as well. When we did finally get our check from Midway Nissan, they told us not to cash it for 3 hours. This seems very strange and unprofessional. We are very unhappy with our experience and we wanted to contact Nissan directly to look into the dealings of this dealership. I don’t feel what they did was legal, and it was definitely not professional and makes Nissan look bad. Besides contacting you, we are letting all the major news outlets in the Phoenix area know as well. We would hate to see someone else be taken advantage of in the same way that we were. Because we were lied to so many times-it was hard for us to keep all of them straight. Here is the list: 1. Selling us a truck that isn’t supposed to be for sale. 2. Telling us they will find a comparable truck, and contact us on a regular basis to get our input of comparable trucks. 3. Telling us we can use their loaner truck as long as it takes to find a comparable truck. 4. Telling us they will hold our old truck in case the sale doesn’t go through. 5. Telling us they will get us a great deal on the next truck because they made a mistake in the first place and it would be same age or newer, similar or less miles, similar condition and better price. 6. Telling us GM and Finance manager were fired for our sale, even though they still worked there. 7. Telling us there was nothing they could do about taking away the loaner vehicle and leaving us stranded an hour away from home. 8. Telling us they could wire our money to any Nissan dealership if we wanted to buy somewhere else. 9. Telling us our check would be ready on Monday at 10a. 10. Telling us they could only give us $4000 for our truck, even though that price was agreed as a trade in price and not a sale only (us only selling our truck to them). 11. Telling us $41000 was the best price they could do on their 2019 *****. That price wasn’t posted on the window of the truck and we asked for days for a price and even waited for hours while we were there on Sunday May2. On a side note, while we were there on Monday May 3rd, there was another family waiting a long time like us. They were also waiting on a check from Midway. We overheard that the dealership also lost their drivers license too. So we know someone else was also taken advantage of by this dealership

I was never told that I had a warranty on my brand new car as a matter of fact was told that I needed a warranty to protect myself. So I bought it only to find out I had a 3 year warranty on the car when a rep from **** told me as he wanted me to extend the now expired warranty. They charged me thousands for what I already had. I tried to call Nissan Company and they said they made a complaint but no call at all from Midway Nissan. The warranty insurance should have started after my free warranty ended. I will never buy a car from Midway Nissan again.

We are very disappointed again with the overall outcomes and commitments from Midway Nissan. Through the recent processes we understood again financing was secured at an agreed to rate. We were called 4 days later to be advised of a significant change to interest rates, down payment and monthly payments. We called numerous times and were not called back. We spent alot of time again and were told "it takes time and we have to tell a few stories to get deals done". We conduct business with honesty and integrity. This again was not the case unfortunently after a second purchase. We were misled again from what we agreed to, which is disappointing.

I scheduled an appointment with their Service department for a recall issued by a class action lawsuit over the vehicles transmission. My vehicle stalls while I’m driving which is incredibly dangerous. Jorge, the service consultant insisted I was wrong and did not let me explain to him what the problem with my vehicle was. Then he refused to help me so I had to go to the front desk. Once there I was brought over to Scott who introduced himself as the assistant director. Mind you, Scott was right by us when Jorge refused to help. Scott did not take any action until I was brought over to him by someone at the front desk. While I was waiting I could see Scott and Jorge close the door to their glass office and they were clearly laughing. Very unprofessional and I was not helped. Do not come here !!!

I have been searching around for a car for almost a month because this is a big investment. And because I really want the best deal, I came upon Midway Nissan on ********. I initially spoke with Christian “Chris” I stressed to him I live 30mi away and wanted to know if I would be for sure able to drive off with a vehicle. I was told to do an application on the website, I finished an application online and was called by “Hailey” who claimed to be a sales manager. Hailey sold me a dream over the phone, so I made an appointment. When I arrived at the dealership Christian greeted me , and we sat to talk numbers. He told me something totally different from what “Hailey” had told me. And when I explained to him verbatim what she said he did not apologize given the fact I was lied to. He brushed it off and repeatedly tried to make a whole new deal. I requested to speak with “Hailey” and he claims she is an “internet” manager. Which is another lie because she told me she was a sales manager. So at this point I’m unsure what is truth and what is a lie. Hailey never came out she kept sending Chris to relay messages. Chris came out with a “manager” by the name of “Jay” he told me I’d need to submit a new application which didn’t make sense. I submitted the application Jay disappeared never returned. An African woman with a short brown wig came out and told me something that was totally off, and I explained there was a locked in rate based off my application that was discussed with Hailey. She then acted to be very concerned and distressed by how I was being treated so she got another “manager”. A guy who had seen the stressful situation being that he had walked pass multiple times. I forgot his name ( He was a tall somewhat bald Hispanic guy with a really heavy accent) He came out very unprofessionally Yelling I promise to God he came out yelling “SO WHO’S THE BUYER HERE” no proper intro nothing. Once I identified myself. He yelled again” I CANNOT SELL YOU A CAR EVEN WITH A CO-SIGNER. I politely gathered my things and left. “Vengeance is mine I will repay saith the Lord.” It is never right to do people wrong, I clearly explained what I had to work with. Making me drive 30mi will not change what I have, with that being said it makes 0 sense to pull my leg like that. I was transparent but it is hardly possible to find an honest dealer.

They are a scam!! Stay away!! 1. The big ballon on corner at Bell Rd, that says "Guarrante $3500 trade in." A big LIE. They would only give me balance owed on my car. 2. They bullied me into purchasing extended service warranty for a car with 1500miles. Told me I would have to pay 10% more intrest if I did not buy it. They kept sending a new person to bully me to the point I was in tears. 3. I mailed request to have warranties cancelled, to Midway and 3 warranty companies. Spent $30 to recieve signature receipt of recieving. It is going on to 3 weeks, with no action. 4 They took 3 weeks to payoff my trade. When I called, they said they were waiting for funding. I told them they had funding because I talked with finace co. I told them if it was not paid that day, I was filing a complaint with Better Business Beurea. 5. Never even got a thank you for doing business with them
