The food was excellent. We arrived just before 4, so we were able to partake in the lunch specials/pricing. The oysters were amazing, shrimp so sweet, fish tacos- light and flaky, chowder soup amazing. Our server was crabby. She took our order, placed our food and drinks in front of us and presented our check upon request. She was not bad but, there was definitely something not pleasant. We come to Newport every February and it wouldn’t be the same without a stop to Midtown. Amazing place - good food and raw bar and friendly staff!!

Great service and wine list. I had the pan roasted seafood which was great but my friend had the oysters au gratin which were not good/fresh and the chowder wasn’t great. Beautiful place, great atmosphere.

Great food! Loved the oyster selection. Get the shrimp cocktail and you will not be disappointed. Got to enjoy this great establishment during Newport Restaurant Week. Very glad it was our first foodie stop in Newport!
