James *********, sales manager called me regarding a fence quote. Explained that we were not interested at this time. He said quote would be good for 2 years, so we allowed him to come out. He was disrespectful to put it mildly. He offered us lots of different fences to get the price lower (not wanted and not asked for) "But, don't discuss this price with anyone". I purchased a Vinyl Fence after negotiations with my Salesman who was well informed on product benefits. Their entire team went above and beyond from assistance with permits to installation of the fencing. My experience was great with Midtown Home Improvements.
We hired Midtown for a kitchen remodel and were very impressed and happy with our experience and result. Dave ******* was particularly great to work with and did impeccable work. He was always on time and conscientious of cleaning up after himself everyday. We would definitely look to Midtown for any of our future home improvement needs.
The door to door salesperson came to my home today and attempted to sign me up for someone to quote a project. He stated that both my wife and I must be home in order to deliver a quote to protect them from liability. I explained that this would not be possible due to my wife’s schedule. He said that their was no way around it. Seriously- I’m the home owner?!? I’ve been a home owner and landlord for many years and have never heard such a crazy company policy in my life. Fair warning - as this was a project done prior to us purchasing the house. A deck was constructed in 2003 and a permit was pulled for said deck. Great! That’s per city requirements. However MidTown never had the project Inspected by the city’s building inspector(s). Fast forward to today.... and the deck is falling apart, footings don’t meet min. Code requirements and basically the deck needs to be redone. Amazing what you can find out about your property when talking to city officials. I highly discourage anyone from using... read more
