The staff is efficient, pleasant and patient.
Ray does a great job. He called me up to tell me he had not received my real estate tax check and that I will have to pay a penalty if I didn’t have it to him by the end of the day. 10 minute drive and handed him the check. After living in Philadelphia where the service stinks, It’s nice to have a guy like Ray! The check I mailed arrived on July 8, postmarked June 23!
This is the weirdest local tax system I've ever seen. They asked for a lot of information when you pay and there is a $3 service fee on a $15 payment. I'm confused as to why I don't just pay these taxes annually with the rest of my taxes like every other county in every other state I'ved lived in.
