Her professional abilities are overshadowed by her condescending and judgmental demeanor.
I am a diabetic. I need help in in so many areas - diet, weight, feet, energy. Dr. Braimon doesn't ask me about any of those things. If I gain or lose weight she never comments. I also am concerned about my feet. As she was walking out at one appointment I asked if she was going to check my feet. She replied "do you want me to?" when I said yes she did. She didn't ask about tingling or anything about the problems that I sometimes feel. I don't know where to get complete help.
So rather than discussing changes to a prescription with either the patient or her advocate - she just sends a new script to the pharmacy. No note, no call, no discussion - no need for patient consent or discussion. Absolute fail as a doctor.
Dr. Allara is very thorough, does not rush you out the door , covers any health issue you might have and makes you very relaxed during any exam you might have.
one of the most condescending and disrespectful person I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. She talked to me like I was a child incapable of understanding anything. I left that appointment feeling degraded and humiliated. I have been to other large hospitals and small clinics but I have never had such an unpleasant experience with anyone before. If you want to be judged, belittled, disrespected and have all of your concerns dismissed without a thought, she is your gal!
Dr. Allara has been mine and my family's doctor for over 20 years. Because of how caring and knowledgeable he is, I always prefer seeing him over a nurse practitioner. Don't get me wrong, the nurse practitioners are caring too, but Dr. Allara has a lot more experience and knowledge. He was always able to figure out what was wrong when others couldn't. He even visits his patients when they are in the hospital. He also has the best sense of humor.
I have always been impressed at the time, thoroughness, compassion, and quality of care I have received from Dr. Allara and the staff at Middleton Family Medicine. Whether it be something minor like a sprained toe or full blown COVID / pneumonia Dr. Allara has always been rock solid in getting me the care I needed.
