They have messed up our billing multiple times, not charging our insurance. Maine Health really is probably the worst option you could go with.
Dr. Losey needs to just retire, he has been practicing longer than I've been alive and misdiagnosed my kids chicken pox as being just BED BUGS..... another doctor also fed my kid expired formula. SO glad for Martins Point taking on all my kids.
I had my daughters first appointment as a 30 month check up and they incorrectly billed my insurance company for this preventative visit. It has been 6 weeks of speaking with both the billing department and my insurance company. Maine Health refuses to speak with my insurance company on their own and makes me call them every week to share information back and forth and refuses to submit an invoice with the recommendation from insurance company. I can't believe that this is how they are "helping" their patients.
I called because I needed a doctor’s note. I’d done this before where I called, talked to a nurse and they sent me a note over my chart. So I assumed it would be the same this time around. I called, told them I needed a note, they said a nurse would give me a call. Few hours later a nurse called and said that’s not something they could do and I needed to make an appointment.
