We had an emergency call last night for my daughter's horse that was colicing, Dr. Hartman came right out, gave us the options, and very patiently did what he could to ease Chief's pain. A few more hours and he had to come back to do what we feared needed and should be done for our big guy. Euthanasia shot was prepared and we walked Chief out to a pen. I have always loved mid rivers from the excellent work, their caring staff, and priority of the horses health! Today, they topped the cake even more by responding to a Facebook image suggesting what it might be. It shows that they truly are here for the health of the horse and not some commercial vet clinic looking to charge for whatever they can. Thank you guys so much! I don't trust anyone more than the wonderful people at mid rivers to work on my horses :)
