My fiancé had shingles a couple years ago and he went into midcoast walk in and they misdiagnosed him and said he had TJM... then he found out the next day it was shingles. My 8 month old son had been spiking a fever and I was certain he had an ear infection but couldn’t get him into the peds till the next day so we went in to the walk in. Sarah said he had no ear infection and that it was probably a stomach bug found out the next day it was a very bad ear infection. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
About a week ago I had walked in due to an accidental needle stick through a different medical office. When I went to the front desk for triage I was wearing scrubs. The lady at the front desk asked if I was here to be seen and I said yes and described the incident of what happened. Her second question was if I was a mid coast employee. She then stated she would go and chat with the doctor and see if I could be seen. Fast friendly efficient care.
We weren’t even in Maine for 5 hours and my son fell while climbing rocks at the beach. Someone there suggested we take him to this clinic. My husband made the phone call as I drove there. Everyone we encountered was so nice and made it so easy for my son to be treated and stitched up so quickly in order for us to immediately continue with our vacation. Nurse was completely inappropriate and left me in tears before I even saw the doctor...
Greeted when I walked in, waited about 5 minutes to check in. Staff was nice and courteous. Filled out paperwork and waited another 10 minutes until called in. Short wait in the exam room, was out of the exam room in about 20 minutes. Staff listened to my problems, asked if I had questions. In and out in less than an hour. Would use their services again if need arises.
