RecommendedI came to Wills Eye with a detached retina and my macula was off. 75% of my field of vision was black. Four weeks post op and my vision is 20/30. I can’t thank Dr Stem and Wills Eye enough for restoring my vision!
They refused me treatment for a ongoing problem only because of over charges co payment. Instead of my $20.00 copay the receptionist tried to con me into paying $189.00 so I was told I could not make payments because it’s there policy to pay in full regardless of my eye sight health and care which I may lose my eye sight
My elder dad had an appointment. The front desk had several staff, no one greeted us. We asked what to do, a receptionist said, “sign in and we’ll call you.” One hour later we’re still sitting waiting. We finally approach front desk and they look a letter they sent and tell us we’re in the wrong suite!!! So we go through it all again in another suite. The customer service, especially the front line staff need better supervision and training.
I like they have an excellent staff. Waiting time tho is too long.

Second time I've waited hours and hours after having the first appointment of the day. If you work, it's terrible. Think I'm going to ro have to switch to Penn.

I would definitely recommend Mid Atlantic Retina. I have been a patient of Dr. Ho's for the past 6 years. I don't think you could find a more competent and compassionate doctor. He has done surgery on both of my eyes for macular holes with great success. I realize sometimes you have to wait to see the doctor but I feel it is well worth the wait. When I am with Dr. Ho I never feel rushed. He takes the time to explain my condition and answer my questions.
