This was my first time staying at this hotel. A 3 night stay. Everything was good. Very pleasant and friendly people to deal with. I was within walking distance from where i had to be and leaving my vehicle there all day was no issue. The last day after i checked out i left the car there for the day without any issue. Breakfast was very good and plentiful lots of protein. Room cleaning service was everyday even though the card said differently. All good. I would stay there again.
Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay, as much as we hoped too. We booked our room in advance back in early Feb for our wedding, only to check in and recieve a lesser room. They were unable to fulfill the reservation which was super disappointing. This hotel came recommended with our venue but I won't be recommending it at all. Otherwise, it's a fairly clean hotel and the breakfast was good. It seems to be a hot spot for children sport tournaments so just be aware before booking if you're looking for some place quieter.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Microtel! The hotel is very dog friendly which was an extreme bonus for us. There are several pet relief areas outside and a garbage near the front entrance which made taking our pup outside very convenient. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities we could ever need, including a microwave, a good sized fridge and a great tv with all the channels you could ever want. This is an above average hotel. It’s fairly new I think and is well kept. I highly recommend the breakfast.
The place is a shelter, and not a hotel. They think they renovate the façade and the lobby a bit in lovely colors and put a brand name to it (re: Wyndham), they can start charging stratospheric rates. Health code violations are evident throughout. Building inspection is long overdue for the place, at least for the rooms I have been to when I arrived for my check-in.
