Easy on/off I-40, only about 0.1 mile away from the highway. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. A/C worked great. The complimentary breakfast was the best I've ever experienced at a budget hotel. Everything was fully stocked, and an employee was at work full-time cleaning and replenishing the food items. Well done Microtel!
The suites were nice and clean. There was no trouble with them. The only downside is actually outside the building. There's some homeless folks between the hotel and Walmart who can get a little wild. Don't leave anything in your car as a precaution. There's even signs posted about it. Nice place though for Albuquerque with amenities nearby.
The other recent reviews are right. The rooms are dirty. The bed sheets seem to be clean and the bathroom is clean-ish, but the carpet is filthy and there is hair on the bathroom floor. there was a screw and tool left on the floor, in addition to something like construction dust that has probably been there a long time. The inside of the window is also dirty. I won't be returning to this hotel. Avoid this hotel!
