MEC is local, painless and very professional! Would recommend to anyone in need of eye care.
Dr. Sorcan is fantastic. My daughter has been seeing him since a very young age and I feel comfortable with his decisions and her treatment regarding her eyes. He is super great with the children and knows how to talk to them at their level. The girls at the front desk are always very helpful and super friendly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great office to send their child or family member to.
I would not recommend using these eye consultants. I was asked one question: Do I use a computer? (Who doesn't?) and was prescribed a brand that was new to me and I ended up hating. They got stuck in my eyes and were very dry. When I called to ask for a different brand I was told I would have to pay for an entirely new prescription on top of the $60 per eye box of contacts. I have not ever had a bad experience here. The people are very nice and professional. I don't wait that long for my appointments and the doctor explains everything to me. Great place. I would recommend this to anyone.
Really excellent doctors (Dr. Sorkin and Dr Glavas in particular), but don't make an appointment here if you're in a rush to get anywhere else (work, school, etc.). I've never been seen on time. I asked if the doctor was running late, and the staff looked surprised that I'd even asked.
