Such a shame that companies are allowed to blatantly destroy our environment.
This Texas company is destroying the Minden Bog, a rare ecological treasure and the southernmost example of a raised peat bog in Michigan. They would never be able to get a permit today to mine peat in a wetland such as the Minden Bog, but were "grandfathered" in. Sad.
