I stayed at this place last night on 9/13/2025 as i was in this city hanging out with family. Some of the sheets had blood stains on them. Pillowcases and some of the towels had stains on them. I also saw a bed bug crawling on the bed right when I was about to go to sleep. No one answered the phone or was at the front desk so I can report my issues. I went through hotels.com and booked a room at what I thought was Michigan City Inn. It's not. it's the Ramada. Initially, I wasn't going to write a review but after speaking with "Gerald" on hotels.com and being told to "follow the policy", Im writing one. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THIS STUFF. I paid 155$ for a bedroom that had stains on the bed and holes in the walls. I took a video and will post if needed. This place was a run down piece of crap! We left after 5 minutes of being in the room. It was so dirty in the entry way and looks nothing like the photos! Don't waste your money!

This place is one step above an abandoned building. Lights in the corridors don't work. Electrical outlets in the rooms don't work. Back corridor closed due to flooding of what smells like sewer water. Bathtub won't drain. Had to make an issue with the desk multiple times just to get a couple clean towels. Parking lot and flower beds covered in misc trash and plastic bags. Water stains and damaged walls everywhere. Lights falling out of the pool with loose wiring in the water.
