I had a very frustrating experience with Michigan City Dermatology & Vein Clinic. On April 10, 2026, at approximately 1:20 PM, I called to schedule an appointment and was told I was speaking with the office manager. Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely unprofessional. When I asked questions about scheduling—especially since I work a 9–5 and have limited availability—I was met with a rude tone. I absolutely love the care of the staff. Melissa is wonderful! Takes her time with you and is very attentive! Her medical assistant was kind and caring as well. I was very concerned about something and the office staff got me an appointment same day I called! I always have wonderful experience when I visit this clinic. Highly recommend!

I will say, my first interaction was extremely disheartening. My son had a pretty yucky skin infection and urgently needed to be seen. I was told a month and a half to two months. Being one of two practices in town, openings are slim, I get that. I would’ve had to drive over an hour to get him in sooner. A day or so after, one of the receptionists reached out to me to see if I had made him an appointment anywhere. I was still fighting with referrals.
