I have had Dr.Dhruva for many years. I find her very thorough in my visits,and she listens to my concerns. She is very caring and compassionate. If my wait sometimes is long, it's because she is being thorough with the previous patient. I understand because sometimes my visit may run long. I dont mind. I certainly recommend Dr. Dhruva as primary care physician.
I rely on medications to function and she refused to provide an emergency 3 day medication(s) refill because I missed my yearly physical. I've been a patient for most of my life. Do better. Disappointed but not surprised.
Dr. Dhruva walked into the exam room and went straight to the computer and started typing and firing off questions to me like I was in a 5th grade debate. I felt belittled because Dr. Dhruva was questioning me as if I was not taking my medication correctly. I was spoken too as if I was a child. I walked away feeling defeated and not supported. The doctor cannot never fit you in since he is overbooked. the PCP is not for annual physical only.
The admin staff gatekeep, which is really unfortunate. You're also going to wait a while for the appointment, but I think it's worth it since you're waiting because she ran long in previous appointments due to actually listening to her patients and caring about their problems. That's the best reason to be running behind in my book.Aside from that, Dr. Khan and her MA Carey are wonderful! waited almost an hour for physical, appointment time was less than 10 minutes, felt rushed and disregarded. save yourself time & find someone else.
She doesn't listen, she talks over you, she dismisses every other thing you say, and then pushes you on medications you may not need, then doesn't pay attention to follow ups, leaving you vulnerable to damage from your medication you may or may not have needed in the first place. When challenged on her behavior she outright lies in your medical record. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR.
Dr Hadley was my cardiologist during my pregnancy and now for annual follow ups. She is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable in her field. She takes the time to listen, learn and know you and your body. I have never had a provider make me feel more cared for or safe and I respect her so much for all that she does. Every doctor needs to be more like Dr. Hadley and the world of healthcare would be better for it.
