Horrible service I should have listened to my instincts of this doctor being uncaring and not helpful each time I’ve met with her trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. But God Always shows me who people are. And I’m probably better off without her poor people skills and poor physician skills... Very Poor excuse for a doctor and a liar!

I truly like Dr. Barnes, I have sent friends to her. After Mercy took over the practice it became very hard to get an appointment and if you had to reschedule there was a very long wait for a new appointment. Not sure how I feel about the practice but still like Dr. Barnes very much.

I recently switched to another MD. Dr. Barnes was rude and unfriendly. Furthermore she did not listen to me or my concerns and preceded to scold me. I left feeling very frustrated and unsupported by her as a doctor. The way she would look at me with cold, hard eyes with no compassion whatsoever is finally what made me find a new provider. It left me feeling that although her words said she wanted to help make me a healthier person her body language said something very different.

Meeting Dr. Barnes was the worst medical experience I have ever had in my life. After waiting six weeks for the appointment,and driving two and a half hours in the rain to make the appointment, Dr. Barnes entered the room without even introducing herself, proceeded to tell me I had been given the appointment in error, and that she would not be taking me as a patient. I had requested, in person, a change of doctors and was told it would not be a problem. Apparently, it was a problem for her.

I had to wait over 6 weeks for a new patient appt (not why I'm upset)...took off work for the appt...sat in the waiting room...and was then informed that Dr. Barnes would not see me because I had seen her colleague in the same clinic, 7 yrs ago, and she reportedly wanted him to approve the transfer from him as a "professional courtesy." (Again, it was 7 yrs ago that I saw her colleague - and I had waited over 6 weeks, taken off work, and was seated in her waiting room.) Unbelievable. Just awful.

I have struggled finding the right doctor, but Dr Barnes has provided excellent care as she listens attentively to understand the full picture before prescribing treatment. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family. As her patient, she has treated me with top care as she answers all my questions regarding any matter

Today,my wife called to reschedule a missed appt and was told Dr Barnes would no longer treat her due to that one missed appt. Was it because she is on medicaid? We don't know. I was a patient also, and was concerned by her lack of experience.
