Michelangelo's is the BEST!! Ambiance, coffee, "Monkey Mocha" (you've got to try this one) , Apple Pie Scones, Raspberry Cream cheese Croissants, and so much more as well as veg options, gluten free, soups, panini it is hard to choose!! Been here a few times now and the service is always great and the vibe is excellent.
The coffee is awful and the service non-existent. I do not understand how the cafe manages to remain in business.
Michelangelo's has the freshest coffee, a calming/peaceful environment, and the kindest baristas of any coffee house I've ever been to. I go to Michelangelo's every Monday to cheer myself up, and nothing cheers me up more than getting coffee (I've even started calling Monday 'Michelangelo's Monday'). If you're looking for the best coffee and friendliest service in Madison, come here. You will not be disappointed :)
