Our family had a awesome meal! From the fabulous cocktails with extra large ice cubes to the scrumptious desserts in mason jars the evening was a stand out. Michael's is blending the best of a classic steak restaurant with fresh current culinary trends. My teenage boys loved the rib, shrimp and mac and cheese special. The 72 hour pot roast was fantastic. I loved the duck confit. It melted in my mouth. Can't wait to go back!
We've been going to Michael's since moving to Pewaukee a few years ago. My husband and I both love the new menu selections, pork on Tuesday's, and the upgrade to the wine list! My steak last night was cooked a perfect medium rare and the creamed spinach was awesome! The only thing we both miss is the lazy Susan for the salads. Especially the croutons. They were the best! But keep up the good work and we'll see you in a few weeks!
I have been going to Michaels for more than 15 years. Unfortunately, the food quality had been slipping recently. The new owners are implementing consistent improvements across the board. The staple of the prime rib is back to rivaling any Chicago steakhouse. The cocktail and wine programs are top notch. I have been to this restaurant multiple times now and it's usually very good. Unfortunately, this time it was only okay. The steaks were way under seasoned and the soup tasted like Campbell's canned soup. I would be willing to come again but please work on these issues.
I have been going to Michael's for 30 years. It actually was my favorite restaurant. The last time my husband and I went, I knew immediately something had changed because the French onion soup tastes nothing like it used to. I couldn't even eat it. It used to be what I enjoyed most, besides the steaks. My filet was overdone and my husband's meal was just ok, according to him. Very disappointed. Wish they had at least kept the same recipe for soup. Not sure if we'll be back.

We appreciate your input regarding our restaurant. I am sorry you don't care for our new onion soup. We have worked to upgrade it now using three cheeses including French gruyere and toasted French bread. I thought our old version was lacking in flavor and was too salty. Our new recipe calls for sweet onions and some sherry to add some sweetness. I am sorry you didn't care for the recipe but hope you'll come back and try the many new featured items.
Fantastic experience, the food was phenomenal, great drinks and awesome service. The new ownership has made the right changes. We will be back!
